Dave Woods of The Joplin Globe in Joplin, Mo., adds a new position to his title: head Twitterer.
The Globe now serves readers with daily Twitter feeds of news and headlines.
"We will send out business news updates each weekday morning at 9, local and breaking news throughout the day and our end of day headline tease at 4:30," Woods said. "Sports, blogs and feature content will be posted daily. We will start promoting the site next week.'

Track bailout money coming to your community

Trying to track federal subsidies? Subsidyscope.com is a good resource as you localize federal bailout stories, as Bill Allison pointed out in the recent APME-Sunlight Foundation TARP Webinar.
Also bookmark fdic.gov to track information on the Temporary Liquidity Guarantee Program designed to get banks to resume lending.
