Having once been married to a woman who could spend an hour and a half in a shoe store trying to decide if she wanted her pumps in red or blue, only to walk out with a pair of pink mary janes. I understand just how difficult it has to be for an 18-year-old kid to decide upon which college he will attend. That's especially true if this kid is among the best football players in the nation and getting sold a bill of goods from every direction.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Oklahoma State’s Keiton Page is turning into an Oklahoma Sooner killer.

Page – three weeks after scoring a career-high 25 points against OU in Stillwater – lit up the Sooners again for 24 points on Wednesday as the Cowboys beat the Sooners 81-67 in the first round of the Big 12 Championship at the Sprint Center in Kansas City.

Brackett re-signs with Colts

INDIANAPOLIS -- The Indianapolis Colts have never been major participants in the National Football League's annual veteran free agent market, preferring instead to concentrate on re-signing their own players to lucrative deals.

That was proven to be the case once again Friday when the Colts announced that veteran middle linebacker Gary Brackett, one of the team's two unrestricted free agents, had come to an agreement on a new contract.

Colts hope to keep Brackett

INDIANAPOLIS -- Team president Bill Polian said that while the Colts want middle linebacker Gary Brackett back for the 2010 season, but negotiations may take some time.

Brackett is one of two unrestricted free agents. Polin said it is unlikely anything could be finalized before the league's free agency period begins on March 5.
